Who we are
Nortos offers CEOs of start-ups and SMEs ongoing support regarding their financial management. We are their sparring partners, in line with typical CFOs and recently founded our company. Ocular is run by two experienced entrepreneurs in Düsseldorf and Berlin and you benefit of our startup mentality.
Our Mission
As part of the advisory team at Nortos, you support startups and SMEs run great businesses, based on solid financial management. We improve decision quality, enable growth opportunities and reduce cost, while presenting our clients in a high quality manner towards their investors.
Impact & Responsibilities
You are deeply involved in two aspects of Ocular:
- You will support our client services and conduct financial analyses.
- We will involve you in building Nortos to a fully-fledged advisory service.
Since we are a team of about 5 people, you will have the chance to really benefit from working hand in hand with the founders and learn a lot across finance, advisory and venturing.
Working mode
You can work up to 16 hours/week during semesters and up to 40 hours/week during vacation time. Your role offers flexibility to combine personal, academic, and professional life. We work completely remotely.
Your Profile
- You are currently studying business administration, economics, engineering, IT, or other related disciplines or have vocational training in accounting.
- You have profound experience in Microsoft Excel.
- You have advanced language skills in German and English (C1+) and are very fluent especially in writing.
- Ideally, you have first working experiences in a fast-paced environment such as venture capital, startups, strategy consulting or innovation units of a corporation.
- You describe yourself as detail-oriented, with strong analytical abilities
- You are a team player, characterized by your reliable and independent way of working, your good self- and time management as well as your engagement.
